Gearing Up for Striper Fest X!

So this year marks the 10th anniversary of the first year we ventured to Kerr Lake in search of the elusive striped bass! It's quite a milemarker (haha) to have the core group attend 10 years in a row now since 2002. Apart from the camaraderie, new friendships made and renewed, and general good times spent chasing the elusive striper, over the years we've built up a list of inside jokes from comments we've made too... some of them are listed here:

"There is no East Pole!"

"Dude, what happened to my hair?"

"The fish are over there, I just know it!"

"Come on, come on, drag the canoe behind the boat."

"Uh Jeff, Tom is stuck in the ditch."

"Real estate prices on the moon are skyrocketing."

"What's the harm of letting Zwiller shoot fireworks on the deck?"

"Uh Tom, you just walled through a screen door."

"Does Kandy Kane still work at Uppys?"

"Once, Twice, Three Times a Striper!"


We're looking forward to the trip this year. I've put together a StriperFest X tee shirt for the group. The pontoon boat is rented. I'm ready to go and it's three weeks away...arrrgggghhhhh!
