Weldon Trip

The annual Spring run of Striped Bass to Weldon, NC, was accompanied by a weekend of camping on our part.  This year we did a Wednesday (4/18) evening to Sunday morning (4/22) stay.  Our timing was earlier this year for the trip.  We went to Weldon the weekend before the close of the season at the end of April.

This did not change the volume of people on the water.  Fishing was definitely slower for us this year than others, but Wayne and Dan both managed to catch keepers.  Circle hooks seem to be able to unpredictably release fish as they are being pulled into the boat.
